What is an Aqueous Solution?
An aqueous solution is a solution in which water is the solvent. In our product, shellac is dissolved in water with a suitable alkaline agent, creating a stable and effective water-based formulation.

⸺ Product Flow ⸺
1. Sticklac
Resin-encrusted twigs and branches are harvested from lac-host trees.
2. Seedlac
The collected material is crushed, and unwanted wood fragments, dust and other foreign matter are separated.
3. Shellac Flakes
The crushed lac is washed to remove soluble colouring matter and additional impurities.
4. Aqueous Solution
The cleaned and processed material becomes Seedlac, an intermediate product for shellac manufacturing.
